Three "North" teams represented Canada, and three "South" teams fought for the United States. If you watched the event as it happened (free via YouTube), or you caught the replays, you might have often wondered, "Which player was the best?" Unfortunately, I can't answer that question without using my personal opinion / sports analysis.
HOW THEY WERE COUNTED
I did go back and count these stats, however: Shots On Goal, Shots Taken, Shots Wide, Goals, Assists, Loose Balls, Turnovers, Caused Turnovers, Blocked Shots, Face-Offs Won, Face-Offs Attempted, Penalties, Goalie Shots Faced, Goalie Saves, and Goalie Goals Allowed.
Stats have a way of validating what we watched on the field! Each game took me just under two hours. Granted, I'm no professional, but I'd like to hope that this is 90% accurate or better! (Note: Only Primary Assists were counted, NOT Secondary.)
